Kelly Seymour, REALTOR ®

I received my real estate license in 2008 and have seen the market change and evolve; it has given me a great perspective on the Gallatin Valley, and I am able to help my clients navigate this market skillfully. I also had the pleasure of working in Senior Care for almost 8 years during that time, and found my passion helping the elderly at critical times in their lives. I recently earned my SRES Designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation) which seemed like a natural progression for me to merge both my love of the elderly and real estate; it's like the best of both worlds.

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Cal State Long Beach in Speech Communications in 1991; and we joke that no one actually uses their degree as much as I do! I have been in sales my whole life including my first job at 12 years old when I was a “telemarketer”, and called people on the phone (a push button telephone with a curly cord no less) to see if they wanted to bronze their children’s baby shoes!

To me, Real Estate is fun! With my background in senior care and hospice, I bring a realistic and lighthearted perspective to the field; I never forget that it is “just real estate”; its not terminal illness or living with grief, or enduring a traumatic family experience. I’m able to keep my cool in stressful escrow situations, and I’ve been described by clients as “being like water” and just “flowing”. The Golden Rule is my motto, and I will always treat Clients, fellow Realtors, Lenders, Appraisers, Home Inspectors and other affiliates with a level of respect that we all deserve! There is no excuse for bad behavior.

I was worried when I first went back to real estate that it wouldn’t be meaningful enough for me, but nothing could be further from the truth! I have had so many wonderful experiences with amazing clients.

My husband Darryl and I have been married for almost 30 years, and we have 3 sons, as well as the two best little dogs anyone could ever ask for.

Bozeman has been a huge blessing in our lives. It’s hard to believe we came to Bozeman from California with no connections, no friends, and have made such a wonderful life for ourselves here! I’d love to do the same for you.
